This group will work with the school administration to determine what assets are needed for the school (smart boards, classroom furniture, PE, health, playground, computer lab). This group will assist with ideas to obtain asset donations and help manage asset inventory.
This group will work with a team to identify fundraising sources such as corporate match programs and donation drives and fundraising events.
- FAST Media Center & Library Sub-Committee - A subcommittee is being created to specifically focus on the fundraising and donation opportunities for the FAST Media Center and Library. This group will assist the media specialist with special events, author reading hour and book club.
- Partners in Education Subcommittee - This group will work with school administration to identify opportunities for partnership programs and corporate donations (local University programs, GA aquarium, planetarium).
This group will help identify grant opportunities. The committee members will work with grantors to identify requirements or help write grant proposals for specific in school programs
This committee will work with media, provide information about school to parents, media groups and the community at large.
- Interact Clubs Subcommittee - This group will focus on partnerships with local community leaders, discovery opportunities to connect with rotary and help discover international connections.
This group will be working with the school administration to support web design and development, database management and assist with Fulton County IT services integration.
- School Wellness Program Subcommittee - This group will work with the school administration to help develop a healthy school lunch program and ideas to incorporate classroom based physical activities. This group will also provide ideas for classroom break physical activities.
- Code Academy Subcommittee - This group will work with the administration to assist in developing a coding after school program. This group will identify competition opportunities and web development challenges etc.
- Math/Science Club Subcommittee - This group will work with the school administration to assist in developing a program for math/science olympiads, geography bee etc.
- Marine Science and Exploration Club Subcommittee - This group will work with administration to develop a marine science after school and weekend learning program. This group will seek partnerships with local and national marine programs.
- Aviation Drone Club Subcommittee - This group will work with the school administration to help develop an after school aviation club focusing on building drones, writing software code, partnerships and competitions.
- Rock and Mineral Science Club Subcommittee - This group will work with the school administration to develop a rock and mineral after school and weekend learning program. This group will seek partnerships with geological societies and organize geological field trips.
- Performing Arts Club Subcommittee - This group will work with the school administration to help develop theater, art, music and foreign language learning programs at FAST.
