Mandatory Training Instructions
To keep in compliance with State Law and best practices, for the 2017-2018 school year, we will require that all persons interested in volunteering in the Fulton County School District to re-register/register (even if a person has completed an application in the past) by completing the new online volunteer registration/application process. The training and application process takes about 10-15 minutes. Please note, since FAST is not listed as a school option, parents can select their home school or select all schools in the event they have kids in multiple schools. In accordance with State Law, all volunteers must be current with the Child Abuse Reporting Protocol Training before being allowed to volunteer in any Fulton County school. It is very important that volunteers enter their full legal name as it appears on their government issued ID (please do not use nicknames or “goes by” names on the application).
Click here to take the online training course. Please note, since FAST is not listed as a school option, parents can select their home school or select all schools in the event they have kids in multiple schools. Once complete, please print out and sign the form and return to the front desk staff at FAST.
For FAST’s second school year, the Parent-Teacher Organization has combined its annual membership drive with a check writing campaign. This campaign will replace any other fundraising sales (i.e. wrapping paper) or Fun Runs that usually happen throughout the school year. This one-time ask for a financial contribution for the PTO is in response to feedback received from a parent feedback survey after last year. Your donation directly funds the PTO-sponsored classroom programs that benefit our students, staff and school! A separate campaign will be held to fund the playground.
If you would like to join the FAST Family PTO, you can sign-up at any of the PTO sponsored events, online, or you can print, complete, and turn in the below membership form to Rachel Poore, Membership Chair.
